These are not a knock off, we get them from L'Chef the distributers of Bosch and Nutrimill.  We sell at a lower price than the knock off brands to!  Designed for medium to thick batters and cookie doughs.

We find that you should switch to the dough hook if making stiff cookie dough or adding ingredients such as fruit, nuts, and candy.  For large batches of cookies (15+ dozen), switch to the Dough Hook before adding the extra flour &  ingrediants (raisins etc).
