KitchenAid Adjusting Cam - W11721849

This is an original KitchenAid part.

This metal Adjusting Cam is used in many 5 and 6 quart KitchenAid stand mixers. It helps adjust how high the bowl sits in the mixer.

To replace it:

1. Remove the gear casing.
2. Install the new cam.
3. Adjust the bowl height:
   • Start with the bowl at its highest position.
   • Check how close the beater is to the bowl.
   • Lower the bowl and slightly turn the cam.
   • Make sure the beater doesn't hit the bowl when mixing at high speed.
